when he saw no one else will even compete in the elections, he just kept his mouth shut, and went to work.
in the same day he was announced as the presidente, valdano and zidane return to the club, as director general and advisor, respectively. WOW.
next to happen that day is the announcement that manolo pellegrini will coach, and has signed a contract. GREAT! he has done really great with villareal the past couple of seasons. TERRIFIC!

about a week after he became president, fp lands kaka. KAKA!!! OMG!!!! 65 MILLION EUROS!!! the most expensie singing ever, and there's a recession! WOW.
THREE days later, 3!, it is announced that manchester united has accepted real madrid offer for cristiano ronaldo. how much was the offer, you ask? 80 MILLION EUROS!!!! OMG!!! correction: if this goes through, THIS will be the most epensive move ever. WOW.
if ronaldo comes to real, fp will have made the four mst expensive purchases ever, with figo, zidane, kaka and c. ronaldo. WOW.
