American Idol S04E41 - Top 2: The Finale Results

2... 1! 1! 1!

this finale is a sign of things to come, with a plethora of guest musical actsw performing with the top 12, and all sorts of HYOOGE stuff.

GROU SONG: beach boys medley, for some reason, and it's by the top 12 minus the top 2. "fun, fun, fun", "barbara ann" - scott SUCKS, "in my room" - mikalah does too, "little surfer girl", "i get around" -constance's annoying, "good vibrations" - awesome song.

lynyrd skynyrd, george benson, kenny wayne shepperd, kenny g, billy preston, babyface and rascal flatts will all perform tonight, probably with the contestants.

mikalah is REALLY annoying, and she was the one interviewing people on the red carpet. we see kristie alley, simon and paula, marg helgenberger (CSI ROCKS!), constantine, and carrie and bo.

recap of the WHOLE season. the aaaaahhhh kinda choir sound when bo's face came up at the end, it was like a re-incarnation of jesus (sorry for anyone offended, but i don't really give a damn...).

we see bo in his PINK dressing room. some people are in alabama cheering for bo. latoya's there. she said bo "brice". ha. bo sings vehicle, again.

carrie's dressing room is less pink than bo's. some people gather in oklahoma to cheer for carrie. matt's there. carrie sings angels brought me here. she looks terrific.

randy's dressing room isn't pink. BUT, he's got white shoes with pink laces. we see some stupid, dusgustin clip of the relationship between paula and simon. then ryan talks with paula. simon doesn't look snazzy. he's got man-cleavage. ugh. ryan talks with him.

we go back to latoya, and the people there have some questions for simon. and no one wants to hear the answer. lol. then we go to matt. that dog is CUTE! we see some emotional moments from the season.

oh god... the terrible auditioner that did the national anthem at the start of the first episode of the season does it again. ugh. how can she agree to do that???? john stevens and jasmine are in the audience.

carrie and bo sing "up where we belong" by joe cocker & jennifer warnes. bo wears leather pants. just thought i'd mention it. with the bright background, they seemed to glow, further strengthening the bo-jesus comparisons. they both get new cars - FORD mustang convertibles. lol at carrie telling her mom to stay away. cute! we get a comparison of carrie and bo, complete with a retrospective of their journeis on idol.

we see the top 10 worst. there's the one that screams, and freightened gene simmons, the cousin of toni braxton, the one with all the voices that did papa was a rollin' stone, the one that sucked and was alone all day in a projection booth, the terrible psychic, the one that thought he can sing like brian mcknight, and the one that asked if we can dig it. what about the crazy one that wanted to change her name if she made it?

then we see the two dorks, the one that thought he was the coolest man ever, and the one that was obsessed with the hasselhoff, and thought he was funny as heck. they're in the audience, and there's a surprise fr them! david hasselhoff comes to sit next to them. the one that's obsessed with him is about to have a seizure from the ecstasy.

we see a "parody" of the paula scandal, on simon. there were some kinda funny moments. like the dawg song, randy's million dollar smile, and the constance's pouting look. and then it is "revealed" that simon was having an affair with... himself. right. and the replacement? fat william hung. terrible. just awful.

GROUP SONG: (sorta) carrie sings with rascal flatts "bless the broken road" by rascal flatts. she was just great. this is SO her. anthony and anwar sing "i believe i can fly" with kenny g on some sax-flute thing. constantine, jessica and nadia sing "walk this way" (YAY!!!!) by aerosmith with kenny wayne shepperd on guitar. it oddly sucked. i really hoped it would rock, but it didn't. the guitarist was awesome! that's something good about that performance... scott and nikko sing "on broadway" with george benson. again, the guitarist rocked. and he skats. vonzell sings "with you i'm born again" by billy preston and syreeta, with billy preston, aka the fifth beatle (kinda true story, look it up!) singing and playing piano. lindsey and mikalah sing "every time i close my eyes" by babyface, with babyface. bo sings "sweet home alabama" with lynyrd skynyrd. AWESOME! one of the best idol related performances ever. and it was obvious he was having a blast. for the last part, they are joined by EVERYONE that performed up until that point.

the winner will get a private jet. WHAAAA!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? throughout the season, more than 500 MILLION VOTES were cast. 500 MILLION! that more than the population of the us! it's almost twice that! and the winner is...................................... CARRIE!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! everybody cries. carrie sings "inside your heaven". she's SO SUPER CUTE! she cries. I LOVE HER!
