6... (anwar's out? SHOCKER!)
COCA COLA! the theme's this millenium. this is going to suck. not as badly as last week's disco, but still...
1) carrie - "when god fearin' women get the blues" by martina mcbride. she's cute! she loves animals! one of the wierdest, yet somehow coolest song names i've ever heard of. country fits her so perfectly. liked putting the violin player and the guitarist on stage like that. she's really improving her stage presence and performing skills. vocally as good as ever. i really liked it. it's funny how she already knew this song and didn't have to struggle learning the lyrics.

2) bo - "i don't want to be" by gavin degraw. "i'm so old, it hurts my neck now". LOL! you know that episode of the big bang theory, when they play rock band/guitar hero/whatever in the beggining and the indian dude sings "i don't ever wanna be..." or something, when the hot blonde comes in? is that this song? lol... hmmm... guess not... WHAT is he wearing?!?!? he's still walking with the mic stand. he just rocks, in so many different ways. not the best song choice, or performance, but he made it work. it was pretty good. for anyone who was wondering, paula's still useless. and he paid 6 bucks for the glasses!
3) vonzell - "i turn to you" by christina aguilera. her breaking the board and kicking ass in karate is so hot. well, after several weeks of constant improvement, there had to be a let down at some point, and this was it. that's not to say she was bad, but she definitely wasn't at her best. didn't like the song on her either. but it was a'ight. maybe a bit more than that. again, i thought the dawgpound was male only? her not talking on tuesdays is really cute.
heather locklear (that's GOTTA be wrong) is in the audience. her daughter's cute. not in a pedophile/creepy way.
4) anthony - "i surrender" by celine dion. i'm scared of his parents. i'm scared of anyone that has a heavy russian accent. enough with the slow, and really girly ballads! enough! and KELLY DID IT! HOW DARE HE!?!?!?!!! on a good note, the trache hole was somewhat hidden tonight. performance wise it was shitty. vocally it was surprisingly good. not kelly good, but good. paula's stupid. i HATE her. i completely agree with simon. completely.
5) constantine - "how you remind me" by nickleback. FRAUDE! i actually like this song. SO OVER THE TOP! the "kicking" the camera is so lame/arrogant/wannabe rockstar. everything about it was affected as hell. i DIDN'T like it. at all. and is he channeling bo? what with the walking around with the mic stand and all. the scream at the end was horrendous.
6) scott - "dance with my father" by luther vandross. creepiest. song title. ever. i don't get it. first, he hates his father (audition), then he sings something his father can relate to (aggainst all odds, i think), and now he sings about wanting to dance with his father? what the fuck is up? he had that "if i could GEEEEET", "i know i'll PRAAAAAY" and such that were painful. just oh so bad. the vocals, the "performance", the SONG. just terrible.
note on the rankings: the top four are really grouped together, not much seperating them, and they are interchangeable, as are the bottom 2.
