American Idol S04E12 -Top 24: Top 12 Girls

after the guys, the top 12 girls perform tonight, and two get ousted.

1) vonzell - "(love is like a) heat wave" by martha & the vandellas. she has all these cute expressions when she sings. BURGER KING COMMERCIAL!!! it was good. me likey. the dawgpound is introduced! yay!

2) amanda - "how am i supposed to live without you" by laura branigan. again? WHY?!?!?!? she's kinda hot. boring. not great vocally. really boring. simon's disgusting. amanda's grossed out of her mind.

3) janay - "i wanna love you forever" by jessica simpson. jessica simpson? really? HAND GESTURES!!! ARGH!!! weak throughout. not bad, but not especially good either. LOL!!!! simon tells her she's not 50, and does a little hand movement, as if implying paula is. LOL!!!! she did look scared as heck.

4) carrie - "could've been" by tiffany. CARRIE!!! i'm sorry, but i'm in love... where did she look to? BRILLIANT. she's so cute! her little celebration is so cute/hot. i LOVE her!

5) sarah - "get ready" by the temptations. sarah's got some big, nice ta-ta's. she's got too much make-up on. she's still affected, with a capital A. the vocals were just bad. the performing was just bad. really bad.

6) melinda - "the power of love" by celine dion. i HATE this song. HAND GESTURES!!! FUCK IT!!!! i'm really not getting her. plain, bland, average. randy's crazy.

7) nadia - "the power of love" by ashley cleveland. huh? again? oh.... it's a different song! she's a "rocker" now? the 'fro's freaking me out. i'm impressed. really, really good. not carrie-good, but still good. maybe the rocker thing fits her? the whole antidote comment from simon went right over her head.

8) celena - "i will love again" by lara fabian. she's pretty. i guess. it was painful. for me. i hated the song, the singing, everything. it might not have been bad, but i still hated it.

COCA COLA! some wierd thing.

9) mikalah - "young hearts run free" by candi staton. wasn't this song in the group performance stage in hollywood week, several times? as judgejru pointed out, she sounds like fran drescher. that's seriously bad. i didn't like it. i'm starting to hate her. simon's right. and randy's right afterwards.

10) lindsey - "standing right next to me" by karla bonoff. she's somewhat pretty/hot. she could use some work on her performing skills. but vocally it was pretty good. decent. i guess. randy remembers her. or something.

11) jessica - "against all odds (take a look at me now)" by phil collins. WHY?!?!?!?!?!? I HATE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12) aloha - "work it out" by beyonce. BOLD choice. it's a kind of love-it-or-hate-it performance. i didn't love it... she really thinks she all that and then some, doesn't she? i REALLY hated it.
