American Idol S04E11 - Top 24: Top 12 Guys

the top 12 guys perform, america votes, and 2 get out of our lives. CAN YOU DIG IT?!?!?!?!?!?

as the guys are introduced, they do a little dance. ugh.

1) nikko - "part-time lover" by stevie wonder. very cool. very cool indeed. not a stevie song we're all tired of hearing bad renditions of. i definitely liked it. randy gives us this pearl of knowledge: "background singers can't sing that high, man!". right...

2) scott - "you are my lady" by freddie jackson. the retarded one! wierd song choice. as a performer, he sucks. as a singer, he's very very good. didn't care for it as much as i did for nikko, but still pretty good. someone MUST be scared of him enough to vote for him, right?

COCA COLA! bo was amazed that he got to the top 24. and he would have liked to be able to play the guitar/piano and sing some original stuff.

3) anthony - "hold on to the lights" by richard marx. trache boy. he's soooooooooo boring. not great vocally, at least not enough so that this dreadful song would have been interesting. worst yet. the high note was just bad. dull as dish water? interesting.

4) bo - "drift away" by dobie gray. the rocker sings a country song about rock. hmmmm... it's so obvious that he has at least some experience performing. started of a bit weak, but when he got to the chorus, it was just great. paula's comment about him being a rocker who sings on pitch is very insulting. best yet, by quite the amount.

5) travis - "my cherie amour" by stevie wonder. just ok. i dunno. i'm starting to hate this song. simon thinks he was out of "chune". i don't give a fuck.

6) constantine - "kiss from a rose" by seal. the fraude 2.0 sings seal. he smiles at me. i'm scared. he tries to rock it once or twice, with no success. it IS from batman... he has some of the wierdest hand gestures EVER. vocally alright, but i hated it. better than the boring blond, though. randy "sings" to demonstrate where he thought constantine went sharp, and did it badly, so constantine (i hate writing his name!!!) told him to stick to the rapping. lol... paula talked in sentences of a maximum of 5 words.

7) david - "never can say goodbye" by the jackson 5. "never can shay goodbye" by david brown! he performed for the camera, not the audience. the most repetitive song ever, other than "what about the children". it wasn't great. worst yet, by a bit.

8) jared - "how could i be" by marc anthony. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. boring. and he has a creepy look on his face.

9) anwar - "moon river" by andy williams. that leather THING was the oddest clothing on tv. EVER. there was that guy that didn't wear anything under something similar, but that was just disturbing. this is plain out wierd. vocally great. really, really great. but still not exciting! boring. paula's stupid. the way he stood there when ryan gave his number - LOL!

10) judd - "travelin' band" by creedence clearwater revival. not a ballad! my, oh my! but it was terrible. the crackle in his voice was just annoying. it was just wrong. he begs for votes, and he needs to.

11) joseph - "how i am supposed to live without you" by michael bolton. BORING. just not good. he shouldn't perform for people. maybe radio/cd's, but he shouldn't perform.

12) mario - "do i do" by stevie wonder. the only one (?) i can actually see as a star. vocally great. performed great. great song choice, and it's a stevie! paula's ecstatic. she does a touchdown cheer thing. wtf...
