American Idol S04E10 - Hollywood Week, Part 4: The Chair

after getting 3 weeks off, the remaining 44 contestants are called back to hollywood, to be cut down to the top 24.

one at a time, they'll go into an elevator, go up to the room where the judges are, walk the long walk to The Chair (TM), sit in The Chair (TM), and get the veridict from the judges. in the end, 12 guys and 12 girls will pass this stage, and go on to performing live and fighting for america's vote.

they're all nervous.

matthew's about to puke. he's out. 5 more are out, and none are through. david, from na arlens, is nervous. the judges draw it out. he's through.

jessica's kinda hot. tammy's kinda not. jessica's through. randy freaks her out. she's relieved. tammy's out. she's thankful. THEN she cries. nikko, son of the hof-er, is still chillin' like a villain. he's got a lucky coin, and he's through. aloha's through, despite someone voting against putting her through. aloha's feet shrunk, and she needs a doughnut. mikalah, the one that still wants to buy her mom some new boobies, wouldn't some back again next year, if she had the opportunities. she is through, she talks really fast, and is really excited, and hugs everyone. lol.

anthony, trache boy, is NOT nervous. he's through. nadia's through. baby v's through. she's shocked. CARRIE'S THROUGH!!! she's soooo cute!!! she's really happy. judd did a split n a performance in hollywood week. it was a split decision for him, and he's through. erin's out. she lives out to her "promise", and doesn't break down. ivan's out. yolanda's not through. faith's out, after being very, VERY confident a couple of hours earlier.she's shocked. and incredulous. she got to the wrong floor... lol... she screams at people. i don't like her.

ryan calms faith. she's still pissed. sarah's the one with the british parents, and she's through. celena's kinda pretty. she's through. she's shocked. 3 are out. janay's excited. will she stay that way? yes. we don't see the decision. she's through. lol at her mom being angry at her! joseph's through. he doesn't believe it. anwar's through, despite randy wanting music teachers to keep being a music teacher. he says something inspirational. jamar/lamar/which ever twin's left is out, as are john and jp, from that disastrous group performance. he's kinda shocked. randy and paula stand and go to hug him, simon just stands and wait for jp to come to him.

lindsey's quasi-good-looking. and through. melinda's next, and is through. mario's through, well duh... kim's not through. constantine is woried that bo's still in, cause he doesn't think they'll out both through, as they are similar in some ways. bo's next, and the decision about him wasn't unanimous. he thinks that means he's out, says he understands and gets up to leave, but simon tells him to sit down. he's through. and is relieved. he asks simon if he wants to tell him which judge voted against him, but simon just says no. jared's through. he's shocked. constantine thinks he doesn't have that big of a chance to go through, after bo advanced. he's through. he's shocked.

amanda and jaclyn go up together, as there's only one spot left for the girls. jaclyn's out, and amanda's through. jaclyn's disappointed, amanda's shocked. they hug. scott, the retarded-looking one's next, and he's through. travis and warren go up together. and travis's through. warren's out.

we see a clip of some of what happened so far in the season.
