American Idol S03E13 - Top 32: Group 3

wer'e slowly getting through this disastrophe. tonight, eight more will sing, most of them will suck, two of them will move on to the top 12.

lol... the whole simon-ryan talk about fashion/hair. lol...

1) elizabeth - "i wanna dance with somebody (who loves me)" by whitney houston. TERRIBLE song choice. all celine/whitney/mariah songs are terrible song choices, but this is the worst. she wants us to knnow that she's not a dancer in a singing competition, and then sings about wanting to dance. right. just meh. really didn't like it.

2) eric - "in the still of the night" by the five satins. clay 2.0 is actually a downgrade to clay 1.0. he wants to stay away from the clay comparisons, and then sings a song perfect for clay. right. the falsetto was painful. t'was a'ight.

3) amy - "the power of love" by celine dion. it was pretty good. nuthin' else to say about it.

the crowd seemed more excited about william hung, than about anyone in the top 32...

4) jon peter - "tiny dancer" by elton john. GREAT song choice. he's kinda funny. he sang with a wierd accent, one he doesn't have when he talks. didn't love the arrangement. but all in all, it was good. i actually liked this performance the most so far. not the best, but my fave.

lol! "hey, listen, I would be better than last week". LOL! lol at the conversation about feeling randy, too. lol!

5) charly - "chain of fools" by aretha franklin. nice. very, very nice. she's cute. don't know what randy was talking about. i liked it! and then paula kissed simon.

6) jonah - "i wish" by carl thomas. "jonah's just rolling his neck" "yeah, all five of 'em". LMAO! i'm so over the mahalo-ing, hawaii thing. it was ok. it should have been a lot better. simon found a new level of rudeness. he was right though, jonah didn't shine.

7) leah - "i have nothing" by whitney houston. leah's good looking. not in the intro clip, but the way she looked tonight was very good. HAND GESTURES! i guess it was ok. i don't know. simon's not making any sense. it's not that i disliked it, but i didn't like it either. oh, well.

lol at ryan's comment on simon's dress comment. LOL.

8) latoya - "all by myself" by eric carmen. brilliant. just great. brilliant song choice too.

this group was just soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the previous one.
